A Profile
N.N. Saikia College is located at the heart of the Titabar Subdivision and about 25 K.M. south of Jorhat district headquarter. It is a full grown college catering to the academic requirements of several lacs of people of a vast area comprising a large number of tea gardens and lush green paddy fields extending up to the foot hills of Nagaland. With an ideal academic atmosphere, and an experienced teaching staff, the college has already made name amongst the grants-in-aid system colleges of Assam (now provencialised). Established in 1959, the college was donated by late Dr. Jiba Kanta Saikia, Ex-Director, Health Services, Govt. of Assam in the memory of his brother late Nanda Nath Saikia, a well-known businessman and a social worker of Titabar.

The logo of N.N. Saikia College "Gynam Bigyan Sahitam" indicates the mission of this College to provide an environment in which its pupil can discover, ecamine, preserve, and transmit knowledge, wisdom and value that will help to ensure the survival of present and future generations, with enrichment in the quality of life.
